In less than 2 months, my baby will be 2 years old, wow!
The big thing this month is that she started saying yes. Until recently she said no for the things she really meant yes to! Now she is saying “yes ma’am” and “no ma’am”. Teaching Lydia good manners has paid off with Layton too!!
She is a swimming machine. Dave and the girls swim almost daily. We went to a pool party the other night at the Ripley water park. She went down the slides and jumped off the diving board. She was just as big as all the others!
She has discovered the sand box and playhouse recently. She loves going in and out of the playhouse, and she has managed to dump almost all the sand OUT of the sandbox!
She asks “What’s this” and “Who’s that” a million times a day. When you tell her what or who it is she relies, “Ohhhhhh”!
She and Lydia are still sleeping together but most night she wakes up about 4:30 and comes to my bedside and hollers, “Hold you”, wanting me to hold her. She is back asleep before she hits the pillow!
She now has 7 teeth, 4 on top, 3 on bottom! She loves, loves, loves anything sweet.
She still has an allergy to tomato.
Her legs are so long. Recently, there have been several dresses that she could wear one week, then the next week, there were too short. I think she will be tall like her daddy!
She is EXTREMELY bossy. We have to scold her occasionally because if we are scolding Lydia for something, she tends to start scolding Lydia too, right behind us! She will fuss at someone if she knows they are doing something wrong.
We went "bishing" the other day. Even though it was so hot, she loved every minute. She liked getting the minnows for us to bait the hooks!
She is precious and we are loving every minute with her!
